Separators

The separators are used for various purposes such as:
● Removing the coarse particles
To remove a small amount of coarse particles contained in the processing
materials.
● Sizing
To make the particles to the pre-determined sizes.
● Refining
To remove a small quantity of fine powders contained in the materials.
● Major processes utilizing the separator:
■ For receiving the raw materials and material input to the process.
■ Before or after the powder grinding process.
■ Before or after the mixing or blending process.
■ Before or after the granulation process.
■ Before or after the drying process.
■ Before the filling and packaging process.

Tokuju offer a wide range of separators including the horizontal gyrating sifter, vibration sifter, ultrasonic sifter, centrifugal sifter and so on. Variations of our separator ranged from small and compact sizes for laboratories to large sizes for the commercial production lines. It is available not only the dry type of separators but also the ones suitable for wet processing.

Gyro-Sifter

The gyro movement enables to maintain the most stable movement of the powders on any part of the screen surface and satisfies the most important conditions for sifting, i.e. dispersing, agitating and forming the layer of products. On the gyro-sifter, the products stay contacting on the screen surface for a long time and a stable production yield can be obtained with a high degree of accuracy.

Round Vibration Sifter

The three-dimensional vibrating screen sifter with both up-and-down and horizontal movements. Its superior powder dispersing and screen passing capabilities are suitable for the materials to be processed through the fine screen mesh and/or the ones with poor dispersibility. The round vibrating screen sifter is also suitable to use for the wet sifting, which may be difficult to process on the other type of sifting system. The materials will be fed on the middle of the round screen, dispersed in clock-wise and sieved. The product on the screen will be discharged through the discharge end of the machine.

Uras Screen

Two vibrating motors are fitted on either sides or upper part or bottom part of the trough to give a direct vibration to the screen surface in certain angle. The materials on process move toward the discharge end jumping up and down and efficiently sieved. Shape of the trough is horizontal and can be selected either fixed type or hanging type.

US Sifter / KEK Sifter

No vibration on the whole system. The materials are agitated, sifted and pass through the screen by the paddle fins rotating in high speed inside of the cylindrical screen the materials fed into the sifter are gyrated, pressed against the cylindrical screen by rotation of the fins and forcefully pushed out of the screen.

UX Sifter

This model is the one modified from US/KEK sifters enhancing the high standard of cleanliness, which are necessary for handling the pharmaceutical products. No vibration occurs on the whole system but the materials are agitated, separated and pass through the screen by the paddle fins rotating in high speed inside of the cylindrical screen The materials fed into the sifter are gyrated, pressed against the cylindrical screen by rotation of the fins and forcefully pushed out of the screen.
